Honestly i think it's good to have people like him. If everyone just used them eventually there would be no good examples left for future enthusiasts, just a bunch of reproduction fakes and kit cars.....boOOoring. I love modded cars but it is cool to go see some numbers matching originals and appreciate it for what it really was.

I would have to say if i had his money I'd build a similar set-up, just a lot further from my house. I'd have to build another garage for "fun vehicles". Everything from pocket bikes and go karts to all out dragsters and monster trucks. On the back side would be a separate building for my jet skis and ****....for the big *** lake out back. And that 18-hole golf course would be an airstrip, oval and road coarse track, and further back a 4x4 trail and motocross area, and a mudding area...yup yeehaw! lol

All of which i could rent out/display and pay for it's self. (as if it would be necessary)

Money doesn't buy happiness my ***...

He's not rich, he's wealthy.

I'll take the World 600 69 Camaro Pace car.

I know I'm a sadist, but it looked like he had a '79 or so Z28 that may have been a Baldwin Motion car. Would have liked to see another pic of that one. You have to be a true Chevrolet nut to love a '79 Z28 of any type.

You would either have to know some really really "IN" people in the muscle car world or go to A **** LOAD of car shows to acquire all those vehicles, damn. At what point do you say to yourself, "Ok, I think I have enough for now...."

I agree with both sides but see here is my problem with his situation.
He owns like 12 of each car and doesn't drive them really at all (you can tell, original white walls and wheels, low air pressure in tires, you can see surface dust on many if you look close, etc) So it sucks to see them not used.
But like others have said, someone had to keep them for the rest of the working class population to drool and whatever else you do when you see a sexy *** car...
but IF IT WERE ME IN THAT SITUATION, Id own two of each so that way I let one sit and collect dust to keep and store so others can enjoy it later (kids, family, another car enthusiasts) and then DRIVE THE **** out of the other one and take it to shows, track days, etc so that I can really get a feel for each car and know exactly what it was like to drive each one back in the day, to me, that would be a hell of lot more fun then just staring at them wishing I was The Bandit when I could be out there actually pretending on the open road.

Then again Im sure being a self made billionaire can get pretty busy sometimes too...

You are gonna be SO disappointed!!

Iowa doesn't have personal property taxes on automobiles like we do here in the Show Me. Now I can imagine a few License and Registration employees passing out whenever it is time for him to renew his tags though
