2002 z06 acceleration Took the car out today for a quick spin. Accelerating uphill merging on the freeway...
Im honestly fed up with the lack of traction the car has even though the rear tires have 70% tread left
and its stock aside from the heat soaked dual cone intake...

See if they make a Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 in your rear tire size. It is the best street tire you can put on. I had them while supercharged and they were the best street tire I tried. I now have Mickey Thompson ET Street II tires on back...but the RE-11s rock.

I've heard good things about the Nitto too. I would say the RE-11 will probably out perform them however. When I took my S/C car to my current tuner, he was very impressed with them. Now when he supercharges a Vette, he puts on the RE-11 if the owner is staying with a street tire, and he has used the Nitto 555.

they dont have re-11s in the z06 size, get the nt05's or nt05r's. i put those on my dad c5z06 that would spin at 60 with those stock oem garbage tires then with the nt05's they dead hook anything over like 15-20ish
