My Dyno Vids
Got my car dynod today. Here are the two vids from the pulls

Both pulls I got almost the exact same numbers, 353hp at the wheels. AFR was perfect so it was tuned by the previous owner.
It was done at Heldenberg's in Leesburg, Ga. About the only place in the area that has a dyno.
They are a STS dealer and the owner took me for a ride in his turbo silverado, 650hp, extremely nice and from the outside it looks extremely stock. This might be my next upgrade. After seeing it in person I am dying to have it!

Not sure? Did they do it wrong? They have a great reputation around here and everyone seems to recommend them for their good work. If they did it wrong I would not know, first time ever having a car dynoed.
Hrm so the numbers are wrong? I had to pay $89 for the dyno so I want them to be done correctly. If they locked it would it make a difference in the numbers enough for me to go have them redo it? If it might only add a hp or two I will just deal with it.
Been reading up on this and have found several other posts about it suggesting that unless the transmission is built up, to not lock it on a dyno pull because it might burn the TC up. This sound right?
Yeah, that was kind of a shitty dyno session there man.
They punched it instead of easing into it with the converter unlocked.
So you down-shifted, went through a gear and into the next.

What's done to your car? Locking and unlocking a TC will make a big difference. It made a 35 hp difference on my car. I have no idea why they're flooring it in second and going to third. You're just supposed to go easy in 1st and 2nd then floor it in 3rd.
Well mods that I know of are 243 heads, slp lid, LT headers, x pipe into true duals dumped at the axle, no cat or resonator. Also I have had two local people who know quite a bit about F bodies tell me that I almost certainly have a small cam. If anything was done to the transmission I do not know for sure. I am also sure it was tuned after the mods were done because the AFR was perfect on both dyno runs and from what I have read online, it would be slightly rich if it were a factory GM tune. I do not know if a stall converter was used, never had one before so do not know what to look for in the way to drives to tell the difference.
