He shouldn't have attempted another burnout after the first... Tires would have been dry anyways and he was on street tires. His first burnout where he just squaked the tires would have been fine.. I'd say a complete yuppie newbie in drag racing who thought the burnout is for show.. Props to the black vettes PROPER burnout.

The owner of the silver C6 can drive, from what I hear. It's just that when the car bites and you over-correct, it can get hairy pretty quick. This happens more than you think, some people get lucky and don't hit anything when it happens. Yes, that is Nine Ball's Z06 in the other lane.

hmm looked like when he was brake standing it he turned the wheel to correct it then when he let off the brakes to roll out of the burnout it bit hard and launched him right into the barrier. Looked almost like the STM kicked in all of a sudden.

At least he crashed at 5 MPH instead of losing it at 115...

wonder why his steering wheel was at what looked like almost complete right lock. the car was still pointing straight during the burnout.

I don't know man. Doing a burnout is not that difficult. Back up and give it another shot if you have to. On street tires one quick spin of the wheels should have been enough. I wouldn't even bother tracking a car with that much power with street tires.

**** happens. From what i saw on another forum the owner pulled the bumper off and kept racing. He actually ran 10s on those tires so he can't be that bad of a driver.

I heard Nine Ball didn't have much luck with his car either. He didn't stuff it but apparently the clutch is toast. Its racing, **** happens. It would be embarrassing to stuff your car like that though.

Yeah **** happens, I've made my share of bone-headed mistakes. And I've had some close calls. And I haven't even driven a REALLY fast car yet... But it is clear in the video that he cut the wheel pretty hard to the right and that's the direction the car went. If he did pull the bumper off and kept racing, that deserves respect. I bet he learned from his mistake.

Factory clutch said bye bye lol

600 rwhp with that magnacharger and a stock clutch was not working anymore with quite a few spirited pulls on it.

Yea I'm surprised it ever held that much, I'm sure he'll have it straightened out in no time.
