Wicked! It's going to need more than 1800whp to take the overall at the mile though.

Yup, tire blowout is what I heard. Tire brands are going to have to step-up and make some 200+MPH mile tires!

they ran 239mph with only 15psi and with 20s street tires in the back.

When they dyno 1800rwhp it was at 26psi so the car still have a lot more in it with better tires and more boost I say 260mph

^ So you're saying they had a blowout at 230+ mph? I bet that put some silver hairs on his nutz. I've had a blowout at 100mph and I nearly **** on myself.

BTW, Kelly is not a she. They had tire problems before putting on the street tires and making the 239mph pass. Also heard they didn't stab the throttle until the half mile marker. The only way it would stay straight. The car was insane before this last rebuild. Now it's just plain crazy. Search Kelly Bise and LMR on Youtube for a few other videos. Also hoping the post they video from the Mile.

Meh, I don't think its going to go a hell of a lot faster but IDK. I could see it being a contender if it was only running 15psi the last time, but for the speeds these guys are going you need a big gain in power to go a little faster. 239 is impressive either way, and it would be cool to see an F-body in the number one spot.

Car was at 15lbs. Looked liked a pig on ice with those 20" pirelli p-zeros. Now, once they can get some more starting room and power to use, 250 should be easy.

Car last October ran 23X at the 3/4 mark and popped. That was with 1600ish I believe and no aero lol. Can't remember what the fuel consumption was at.

You have to remember how little time they have when going that fast. If it went 23X by the 3/4 mark, it only had 3-4seconds to go from 23X to 250. It takes a lot to go a little at those speeds, I don't see 250 coming easy.
