Looks like it took little effort going down the strip. Hell the driver look like he was on a sunday cruise. Thats a well built car nice.

Thanks for the video & congratulations. Supras are always among the top @ the standing mile. Aero on those cars must be very efficient. 231 MPH in a standing mile is truly an incredible accomplishment...very, very well done!

nice.. so it sounded/looked like he pulled the chute while still on the gas. is that how you do it? never used a chute and just wondering..

thanks guys.

yes you're supposed to stay on the throttle until the chute deploys.

its a very simple setup, 3.4 stroker, GT4718R turbo

letting off the throttle and hitting the brakes before you pull the shoot will throw the car around violently right?

no, no more mile for this car, he just wanted 230, it did it on low boost, no need to keep pushing it. Its back to the street for him now

Thats why you have to be certified to drag race under a certain time. chutes are a training area.
