Not all of these cars are AWD. Some go for rwd to shave weight. Im sure what you heard camming was the yellow C6.

I doubt that car was AWD. Underground Racing can remove AWD from the car if you ask and not all Lambo models come with AWD to begin with.

Not sure why you would disable AWD on a street car. The pros should "outweigh" the cons....

The SL models (superleggera, or something like that) which translates/stands for super light are rwd and not awd.

As for all of the damage, consider that he hit the curb going sideways in excess of 30-40 mph, the wheels stopped at the curb while the rest of the car continued, hence all of the damage.

Sorry, you got that wrong. Lambos have been AWD for a while now (Audi). The only recent exception is the Balboni, maybe the Super Trofeo. On the episode of Top Gear where they look for the best driving road (the first time=Stelvio[sp?]) Jeremy takes the old Superleggera and mentions that they kept AWD and he was happy about it on those tight roads.
