the clip i saw a few months ago had the same actors playing Sonja and Jax. they were talking to Scorpion in a police station.

This is the result of what you saw a few months ago. Warner Bros. had no desire to go forward with a new movie project, but a series of webisodes were given the go ahead. How popular these webisodes are could change that. These 10 or so webisodes will be origin stories introducing you to the characters.

Damn that sucks. I loved the other Mortal Kombat movies before because I was a lot younger. It would have been cool to see a more grown-up version of the game.

I was jus' checking out Mortal Kombat 9. It looks pretty sick.

This clip is from the old MK Conquest days. Scorpion and Subzero fight, that kick at the 3:04-3:05 mark gets me everytime.




That actor playing Scorpion is the same one from the original MK movie Chris Casamassa, who was also Red Dragon from WMAC Masters along side Ho Sung Pak who was the model for the Lui Kang character from MK and MK2 games.
