Hehehehe, ya'lls drivers are WAY too pretty . . .

Picked up this beast for $650 back in January with 157k miles. Had new tires and battery when I got it, seat is in real nice shape too. Since then I've cleaned up the interior a little, fixed the hood latch(no more bungees), new plugs, wires, distributor cap, fuel filter, air filter, oil change, coolant change, and a new clutch. I'm in this thing for less than $1000 and it runs/shifts/brakes like a new truck.

I dont consider a dd your only car. A DD is a better car that you drive every day and then you have your nice car imo.

No pics..1997 Ford ranger extended cab all manual locks Windows..5 speed 4cyl..190k miles but you wouldn't know It. Drives perfect. Brand new tires.. have around $2,700 in It.

the turbo tank. Duramax/ZF6 combo (really damn hard to find). bought it for $2700 with 307k miles. clutch/tune should put it around 525-550rwhp and over 1000rwtq.

Now with summer coming up, my daily driver will probably be my 72' GSX. Once I get the new block done.

Still obviously needs some work done.

yup. it's not like the Allison auto's which can only take 400bhp before slipping the 5th/6th clutches. guys are pumping 1000+whp through ZF6's with only an input shaft change (only able to take about 600whp) and upgraded synchro's (stock ones SUCK).

that's stock injectors, stock IP, stock turbo.

thats a big truck lol bet that gets great milage lol[/QUOTE]

It actually gets decent in town. I've deleted the DPF and have a programmer on it. I consistently get 13-14 in town and 18ISH hwy. On my way to and from TX2K11 pulling 7k it knocked down 13.1 avg. 80mph.

Thank you kindly.

Currently looking into a Tomahawk block from TA Performance.

But $5900 and a long, long waiting list is a bit steep. You guys have it easy, the only aftermarket Buick 455 block is the Tomahawk.

Although it has been proven to withstand over 3300bhp. So I guess you get what you pay for.

Thats a steal. Would really like to get newer 6.0/ZF6 truck but hard to come by cheap. Paid 1600 for this but had to rebuild trans. 350/NV4500 truck.

Workin it.
