Damn, that's big torque! So you have two Hayabusas? The NA one in the vid and a nitrous one as well? The bottle-fed one is making 403/262? If so, that's gotta be an animal! Progressive N20 controller? EDIT: just read your first post, that bike has got to be seriously fast! Post some vids of it on full song against some cars.

Too much trash talking in this thread, just enjoy it for what it is. People in here complain because they've never tried to make all that power and some how put it down on the pavement...

Good vid. Maybe both cars need to roll out on full slicks and try again

I agree... Whatever happened to just having fun? Go out, film some runs, return, bs a little bit, go home, work till the next weekend, and then repeat.

Couldn't agree more, that's what it's all about. Only reason why I posted the 'Busa vid was I'm anxious to get mine on the road and see how it compares to a seriously fast car. I've never seen a well ridden big power (375+ WHP) bike go up against a 1000+ HP car. It's usually against a bolt-on bike.

More than anything, that vid of the UG Lambos killing a nitrous 'Busa got me thinking, "how much bike does it take to beat a 1200+ WHP car from a roll..."

Not smashing on the Supra at all, it's insane and I'll never have the $ for such a car, props to the owner. I'm just curious how fast a bike needs to be to hang with the fastest streetcars.

A busa that would walk your car pretty badly.

great vid, old boy did his thing for his size. And you guys don't think a 140-160 pound rider would have pull away for the supra.

I think if a 150lb rider was on the bike it would be a better run, but supra up
Top all day against that particular bike

If you could find one that could ride as well as him around here... It is all relative though. Supra had passenger, both windows down, and a driver that needs more seat time...We could sit here bench racing all day. When it comes down to it we were just out there to have a good time and see where the car was at strength wise...

Indeed. People can attempt to compare 'what ifs' all day, all you can do is agree that based on different variables (that have already been discussed) things might have been different.
Until a rematch of sorts or a similar race happens, and it's posted - all we can do is guess and assume.

I understand, but I know of dozens of 08^ busa's that have been in the 8.60range@155-158mph range with a little guy on it.

My friend aka.Jockey Sean weighs in at 150 lbs wet . Him and I can jump on the same bike run the same 60 ft and he will be 4-5 tenths faster in the 1/4 mile and he will be 5-6 mph faster . I am always down for a rematch . Its all in fun . I think if I didnt give the supra the hit every run the outcome from the higher (3rd) roll would have been a little different . He would still come around me up top just would take a bit longer . I also own 60mph rolls with you Supramonster.....lol

A guy weighing what I weigh @ 240lbs you would need to be making 215 hp or so to beat a car making 1100-1200 whp . If we are playing the what if game . I am ready to try it out whenever we all decide to go out and play again .
