AWESOME car!!! That thing is badass. Would hate to run into you on the roads, haha. I too would love to see some pics of the inside. I went to one of the sites in your profil a while back and saw a bunch of other vehicles, think they were WS-6's that were also K-9 units. I'm use to seeing SUV's as K-9 vehicles, seems odd they would use a sports car for one, but hell, I wouldn't complain if I was the handler.

The obvious reason is because they are slow, why waste all that money on a vehicle which isn't going to give you much more performance over a Crown Vic, plus you lose the rear seat, hehe. But I assume the real reason would be due to Ford not producing a police model mustang. I'm pretty sure one of the main differences bewteen a B4C Camaro and a normal one is some electrical stuff. Look at all the strobes on that thing, doubtful a normal car is going to be able to handle that much power drain for long, and sure most departments don't want to have to hassle with retro-fitting an entire fleet of vehicles so they will.
And there are some Mustang cop cars out there, but only ones I've seen have been confiscated from drug dealers and most are used as DARE cars or school resource officers.

Kev,
That "dog-wagon" is awesome...beats the Explorer I'm gonna be issued! Any pics of Brando's kennel...I'd love to see how you fit it into the Z! Are you close to San Antonio? If all goes well, I'll be at Lackland AFB later this year for EOD K9 school...I'd love to see the Z in person!

Law...
If you send me a pm with your email address I can send ya a couple of interior shots. We didn't take any close ups of inside due to the *major* amount of dog hair inside...
I am in the DFW metroplex area so not close to Lackland...but your likely gonna have to pass by us on your way there. Maybe we can meet up when ya come down.
