Default original Ford GT40 MK1 lovely engine sound!!

The original Ford GT40 MK1 !! On this version the 4.7 liter engine was tuned to 490hp. Listen this incredible loud sound, start up and small revs.

Nice, but the 4.7l proved to be unreliable, so they ditched it for a good ol' 7.0l sbf.

I would love to own a superformance MK1 GT40 with an LS engine.

Dan Gurney's car definitely had a 7.0l Mercury engine.
The MK2's that won in 66 (the trio victory) and 67 all had 7.0l's.
The winning car had a 4.9l in 68 and 69 of course, it was a very reworked 4.7l though.

I was completely wrong when I said the 4.7l was unreliable though.
I was thinking about the 4.3l in the prototype.
