I would like to take my bar logo in illustrator and make the 5 colors on different layers so I can play around with changing the colors and see if any others look ok. I don't know how this is done or if it even can be. I have a jpeg of the logo and have Creative Suites 2 but am not familiar with doing this. Can I take the image and seperate the colors or do I have to try to recreate the image from the start. If its the second I will come no where near looking as good. A walk through of how this can be done would be appreciated or if anyone has some spare time and would like to do it and send my the file with the layers I would appreciate it.
