That's kind of an ignorant post...
You realize that stock for stock the ZR1 is quicker than the GT-R in every way, right?
Then there's the aftermarket stuff.
The quickest GT-R runs bottom 9's on race gas. The quickest pump gas C6 is in the 8's...
So how exactly does a corvette stand no chance against a GT-R?

GT-R's are very respectable cars, but for it to leave a ZRI like that either upgraded turbos, full bolt ons, tune etc is the minimum it will need. Now if you do the same done to a zr1- ported or upgraded blower- full boltons. Dunno how much of a chance that GTR will have... Bottomline cheers to the GTR and probably a full rebuild for the ZR1
We can speculate all day about a modded GTR vs. ZR1 but at the end of the day, the ZR1 holds the fastest production car record at Nürburgring with video proof not speculation

Like I said the trap is better. the 60ft for the GT-R is 2 tenths off of that vette. Only reason for that is the GT-R is not fully dialed in yet. Also the GT-R is on a less agressive wheel and tire setup than that Corvette. And if you are talking about Atomicfusion's Corvette (in regards to the 7 second full weight street legal car) being full weight or street legal that is a stretch.

Almost one of the worst racing vidoes I have ever seen. The guy in the ZR1 seems like he can't shift for crap and the GTR got a good jump everytime. So much for 3 honks-idiots!
Sounds like the Chase car is a gtr, maybe. At least put the camera in a fast car that can keep up with the ones racing.

The fastest LS corvette trapped over 200...
Either way, it doesn't detract from the fact that the other post was pretty ignorant.
The GTR and C6 are on equal ground.
They each have their own pros and cons.

I'm talking about Mark Carlyle's Z06. I believe he just went 7.75 not too long ago.
