Actually we just discussed this subject at our last meeting. WE DON'T WANT IT TO BE THAT BIG......it'll take the fun out of it. We discussed limiting the show to maybe 100 or 150 cars. If we get much bigger than that it will be hard to find a place to have the show.

MW limits their show to 300.....plus they have display cars not in the show.
PLus too many cars means you won't get as much track time at the track events. As long as we cover our cost......which we did......I'm fine with a smaller turn out.

Want a bigger turnout? Want to help?

We don't want it that big. Next year there will be a limit on the # of cars...at least for the organized events and the level of participation. Like Terry says, if it gets to be too big, it takes the fun away and it's much more of a work load on our group, which is really about 8-10 people.

You guys did a great job. I wish I could have made it to all of the events and if I hadn't just literally started a new job days before the event, I would have taken the whole week off vs. driving up that Saturday morning.

A very good friend of mine "is" the original and still current prime organizer of MW and he has to work on his event organization a year in advance and throughout the year. It is like a full time job for him and the small team that helps him. I think you guys are right-on-par with putting a limit on the amount of cars for scheduled events. If you'd like, I could put you in touch with him and maybe bounce some ideas off him if you'd like?

No problem Kyle. Just give me a shout and I'll put you in contact with him.

Maybe next year I'll have a ZR1 clutch and Drag radials so I can go to Darlington with you guys!
