yeah, and on some cars people like neon tubes there too! ![Barf](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_barf.gif)
I guess painted frames remind me of the 4x4 world. The hillbillies around here like to do body lifts on their old trucks and take a can of krylon and paint their frames bright colors.
Much Cleaner looking:

Or, worse looking

Well your opinion rules all, Tony. ![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)
FWIW, I don't care for them on an NBM car but I've seen red SFCs on black and white cars and I do like them both. I guess I must be a redneck or a ricer, eh?
Also, what's the difference in painting the caliper red? What about having a red panhard bar that can be seen from the back? Why would BMR, Hotchkis, Spohn, etc. powdercoat any of their stuff red? They all must be shotgun weilding rednecks too.![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)
Anyway, don't beat the guy up and make comments like he's the only person on the planet to be dumb enough to have red SFCs.

I have actually thought about painting them black. It does look cleaner.

BTW, I'm getting all BMR stuff in silver for my '98 Navy blue car. But, the subframes will be black

i agree with nineball. in addition to clear corners, i also think it'd look better dropped about another half inch ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)

This was off a friend of mines 97 Hendrick Edition SS, it was Sebring Silver, He had installed a black panel on his, then his car was totaled in an accident. I told him I wanted his old panel to see if it looked good or not. I did not like the plain blue all the way around, and I think it really makes the vehicle stand out. This picture was in lower light of course, and much more offset to give a better idea of the color contrast.
