There has to be some kind of suspension set up you can buy that doesn't sacrifice much ride quality. I'm guessing the AWD versions have a different suspension than the RWD versions? Buddy has a RWD 335 4dr with stock suspension and actually sits really nice from the factory. He also has all that juicebox crap, thing moves out hard.
p.s. don't get so riled up from everybody's comments. It's a public forum, people are going to give their 2 cents whether you like it or not. If you don't like it don't post your car.

WHy do these cars have such crappy resale? I really like the way the black ones look and with a pretty hefty price tag new just a few years later you get one with less than 100K for mid to high teens.

2007 335xi with 87K for asking price of 17K with an original MSRP of well over 40K that is bordering on Jaguar shitty resale value. Looks pretty clean to me
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false
Plenty more on there for less than 20K

So I bet you that car is a shitbox. So if you want a shitbox, then buy one for that price b/c that's all you're gonna get.

Dont be mad because you paid too much, that car I linked to has a warranty still. No matter how you look at it these cars carry an MSRP of way over 40K and in less than 4 years depreciate well over half. That is bad resale value no matter how you look at it.

Hell thats just a quick autotrader search and those are asking prices, not even what you would actually pay for them. So are all these shitboxes too?
Book value means nothing, especially in this economy, simply looking through the autotrader listing and seeing all the reduced prices shows that. Im not going to buy one since I ended up being able ot buy my wife a car locally with an unlimited mileage powertrain warranty but the 335 is a car we looked at and the crappy resale value was a major thing that turned me off along with the ugly interior I just liked the exterior and performance.

LOL sure I did, kiddo. You're the BMW expert now huh?
No, it does not have any warranty from BMW.
2012 models are out on lots of cars. My math says at least 5 years old.
Sure, dismiss a fact b/c it does not support your pipe dream. So if I found a $2,500 40k mile clean title 2002 TA CE or something it must be great & simply cheap b/c of the economy?
Your Z71 interior & resale value is superb right? Another clown talking out of their *** is all you are. Go troll another thread.

If you learn how to read that dealership gives a 6 year 100K warranty so yes it DOES have a warranty. I wont argue the value since youre obviously one of those people who thinks any of the book values mean something and market value means nothing. If it that was true there wouldnt be so many asking so low on autotrader.
My Z71 is 10 years old with a brand new drivetrain in it, its my toy since I have a company truck to DD and I get my wife newer vehicles to haul my son around in. Im also not on a BMW forum talking about how awesome my chevrolet truck is and getting butt hurt when someone brings up a valid point.
Im bored at work today so come up with some more stuff, this is entertaining. I asked a simple question and you got all butt hurt about it so proceed on.

Resale sucks on 90% of the cars out there, just enjoy your car and don't post on a public forum if you don't like criticism
PS Wheels look classy, good choice on not going over the top.

Somebody needs to chill out. Nobody is trolling here.
Wider wheels ARE aesthetically pleasing, which you obviously care about to come on a GM site to post pics of your car. Being AWD doesn't mean wider tires don't look good. At your power level they aren't necessary, especially with AWD, but that is besides the point.
Lowering your car an inch or so isn't going to throw off your geometry/ride quality that much. It would still ride plenty smooth and be aesthetically pleasing while slightly adding to handling given it's done right. I know this from experience.
You CAN get a 335i/335xi for teens WITHOUT it having a TON of miles and/or beat to **** and/or salvage title. Get over it.
Nobody is bashing your ****. It's nice. We know that. Take your asshat off now and stop getting buthurt over somebody's opinions or facts. If you don't want it, don't post here.
You have a nice car there. A buddy has a black one and is pretty quick for it's given mods and is a very nice car. There is a video on youtube somewhere of him going upwards of 200 MPH on the stock turbos.

Cmon now, the guy is a BMW owner... Oh course he's gonna be buthurt... Just kidding buddy. Though I have seen some serious "street entitlement" issues among BMW drivers. Lol.
