So my buddy picked up an 04 srt 4 with some mods so i figured i'd give him a run before the new motor. I was a little leary at first because at the time i had a quarter size hole in my crossover pipe from the passenger manifold. caused a major boost leak which lead to only about 5psi at 5k rpm

its intrax lowering springs on blown out struts. lol

swapped to the 5.3 cuz it was cheap. i blew the ls1 last year

how much did you pick up the 5.3 for? i know my roomate used to be able to pick up 30k 5.3's for around $250-$300. I was able to score a fresh 6.0 for $650 so i went that route.

i got the 5.3 for 585 shipped to my door, then in feb the same company sold me a 6.0 with no intake for 500 picked up. the 6.0 is in the works. i've got a vid of my first start up here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Lmt19FrqBc .
