Default Norwalk Night Under Fire!!!

Norwalk Night Under Fire is the best and biggest one day drag raceing event and for anyone who lives within 10 hours of Norwalk Ohio should go atleast once.

Good racing all day long with top fuel funny cars running 6-8 runs during the day and always including John Force and others. They also always have some wheel standers, nestalgic top fuels, gassers and many other cool and interesting classes running all day.

I only have a 2 hour battery for my camera(rediculous since it holds like 10 years of video) so I mostly taped trucks during the test and tune portion of the show. Trying to gage how rediculously slow fords and dodges are and trying to get a random pool of Chevys. Here are the vids I have uploaded so far.

305 small cam and heads he said. I don't know if you can see but he has a crazy sticker mod down both rockers and the weight must be slowing him down.

I thought I had more uploaded but they are all junk. The few fords were mostly the newest body style and regarless of cab and bed set up they were in the high 17s!

I have some more to upload including one or two of the top fuel runs.

Not bad for my first taping of top fuel cars.

Funny one of my son watching the top fuels. We saw 3 or 4 runs but this was the first pair, every other time was one car.

Bob Moats Co-Main attraction with John. Usualy burns the wall down at the end of the night but he didn't this year. I was bummed as hell!
You can feel massive amounts of the heat and we are 300 feet away or more.

Along with awesome racing all day the fireworks will put anything else you have ever seen to shame. This is only 4 and a half minutes of a 30+ minute show and you are so close I couldn't get it all in view of the camera. Less then 1000 feet way.

I was there and I live about 9 hours away. While the power was out I went into the pit area and met some of the drivers. It was pretty cool. I was surprised the power came back on. I was actually about to leave when the lights came back on. I was sitting directly across from you.

The guy driving the truck is 74 years old.

Bob Motz. Yes he is old and been running the truck for a long time. He is a really nice guy, I have talked to him many of times at differant night under fire events.

I forget what time it was but I finaly decided that we needed to get out of the bleachers and we were going to sit in the truck and wait for atleast the fireworks. We made the 8-10 minute walk to the truck sat down for less then 30 secconds and the lights came back on!!

I asked my 8 year old if he wanted to head back and watch the rest and he did. We had a great time as always and my son is excited to go back next year!
