LMAO!! 10.25 @ 148mph wow that should a high 8 - 9 flat!!
As for the Z, if he could get a better launch it would keep up with the supra.
Fast cars for sure, just seem like a pita to get hooked and set-up properly.

I don't setting up any of the cars in the vid really wouldn't be a pain in the *** if you know what you are doing and have realistic expectations. None of the cars in the vid are high displacement, solid axle cars.

That's the thing, i have seen cars with simple mods and a well thought out set-up go insanely fast for what they are.
There are quite a few inports out here that launch like a ****, front and rear drive.
A stock 350Z on a M/T DR and unit going 11.50's with a 1.43 60'
A basic bolt-on/n2o 300zx on a M/T DR nearly lifting tire, going deep into the 11's.
An all motor civic on small slicks doing 11.20's on the street.
A LS1 240sx 10's on the motor, 9's on the bottle. It dead hooks on M/T DR's.
a 2JZ miata on slicks that runs deep 9's, I think they were going for 8's on the bottle. That thing just lifts the tires and GOES! It dyno'd ~700whp off the bottle too.
It can be done, but people seem to have the most problems with IRS import set-ups for some reason. Don't get me wrong i have seen them go fast and nearly dead-hook, the problem is most of the guys that lack the knowledge of how to get the power down, seem to be pre-occupied with making more power to "fix" the issue. That was my point.
