i got my 91 trans am for 3k bucks. so does that mean my car is a piece of **** too? i mean i can put $10,000 into the engine and ive still got a $3000 third gen....
i agree with the last guy, give respect where its do and poke fun at people where its due.

After reading all of the responses, I think the majority of you guys are being big ****** babies. A fast car is a fast car, no matter what- 2 doors, 4 doors, wing, no wing. Give it the respect that it deserves, Civic or LS1.

now have you ever seen a stock TTA run before? ive seen bone stock ones run low to mid 13s. i think thats fast enough for the ls1.
just out of curiousity, where did you get the 250hp rating? i could have sworn it was higher...

well gm rated them at 250 hp because of the corvette rating of 250 hp. according to that its closer to 300rwhp or 350flywheel hp.

Maybe it was a v6 camaro w/ the ss badges and ss hood. My two friends raced, 1998 firebird w/ a lid and a shifter and a 95 civic coupe b16 turbo charged (16psi) , the firebird ate him outah the hole and @ the end of the 1/4 the civic had him by one or two cars (highway). @ the tracks the stock firebird runs 13.4 @ 105 and the civic runs 12.7's w/ c-16 race gas and slicks. the civic ran a best 13.9 w/ street tires. there are some fast civics turning out now a days!
