Why would someone do this?

 

Eventhough I would not do it to my car, I can respecct the fact that someone else wants to give it a shot. By all means OP if you wanna give it a try shoot.

Lambo doors on f-bodies or any other car that's not a "Lambo" look so garbage, shame on you OP, shame on you.

For me it's not about the looks or being rice. I want to do it for functionality. If you're 6'1 and 200lbs like me, or bigger, then you know how damn difficult it is to get in or out of our cars in tight spaces. The position of our seats to the doors is very awkward even with the seat all the way back. I'd love to have the ones pictured above to just hop in and out no problem.

I always dread coming out of the stores only to see some jackass parked right up against me, even when I park at the back of the lot away from everyone! I've actually had to climb in through the hatch a couple of times.

 

^ x2. Couple times I had to get in through the passenger side and I climbed through my hatch once before too lol. I try my best to park away from everyone but not always that lucky and sometimes get someone right up to my door, I'm 6'3 180lbs so ***** a bitch but can't have any other car but a f-body lol.

 

Irisheer did you ever find out who's kit that was? I'm also over 6ft and over 200 lbs with a full cage, but I've never seen em go that vertical on an f body

 

Isher thats how my buddys open up, they go straight up,his he can also open the door normal for when he doesnt wanna be a ricer lol, i give him props though just because he did them all by himself,i think its gay,was cool years ago but gay now,can put this with stretched tires imo

I think they look bad *** but would never do it b/c our doors are two heavy for them to be practical IMO.

 

i wanted lambo doors and fast and the furious graphics before i got my license. thank god i realized it wasnt right

 

The hinges must be made of adamantium to hold up the doors.

 

The only plus side to lambo doors on 4-bodies is easier entry/exit out of tight spots - like trailers.
