Agreed, more than just a few words. This guy is a complete idiot. This is one of the reasons why I am learning more and more how to work on my own car.

Ok since all you ladies have your panties in a wad, I'll chime in. I work at this shop.

Here is the breakdown for all your crying.

A). The owner was present and didn't want to climb his big *** in the car so the smallest guy without a belt did it.

B). Didn't drop the car bc we were still working on it.

C). The car is supported not only by the lift but also an additional 2klb support pole jack under the rear transaxle cross member which I do on all cars that I put on my lift.

NO corvettes were harmed in the making of the video so every can just calm the **** down.

Alright guys, I am the owner of the vette in the video. Let me start going through the list of stuff you all talked about

The lift is 100% safe to start the car on. We also had jacks under the car along with the lift.

The reason we didnt lower it yet was because we were putting a different exhaust on we were right in the middle and though...hmmm lets see how she sounds with no exhaust.

the doors, hood, and trunk were all popped. They werent open but they were popped, dont worry.

As for my buddy climbing in the window, its just a car calm down. He took off his belt and anything else that could scratch the car. We couldnt open the door because it would hit the lift so he ask if he could go in the window, I said you are way smaller then me so have at it haha

I was right there for all of this so, yes the owner was pressent for this.

Also this video doesnt sound as good as with the exhaust on it. You can really hear the cam in it. Sounds wicked!!!!

PS I work on my own car. I was working on the car. It was just at my buddies shop. I built the motor in my 04 cobra with 800+rwhp on low boost. I did the whole thing myself. I do all the work on my cars. I am working on the vette right now too. Its at my buddies shop(same one in the video) and getting more work done to it. I work along with the excellent workers at the shop. I like working on my own car, its just Vettes are hard to do in your own garage...ie I bring it to my buddies shop and give him a little business and get to put my hands on it a little bit.

If I spent that much on a car; it's gonna have some Bling rims on it.

I KNOW your tasteless back woods *** would love some blingin rims. You should buy a vette and swap them out with the ones on your singlewide!

Common practice in c3 and c4s. Not a requirement on a stiffer c5 or c6 hardtop. Now if you can show me some GM literature (not "my buddies is ASE Certified and works for NASA) saying otherwise, I'll buy it but I don't think they make these THAT poorly.

Its was just stupid not to lower. You raise it a inch pull the locks, lower it takes 1 min or less and would have to less time.

I am pretty sure that the jack was holding some other stuff up and we would have had to put ship back together just to lower it and then take it back apart to finish
