The only blue Vipers I see in those pics are SRT10s.

For me, the Gen IV is about as crude as I'll go, and ABS was a must. That's the only driving aide my car has.
All the bickering back and forth aside, neither is a bad way to go, and both are a set of custom wheels (and perhaps a good lowering) away from turning heads everywhere you go.

Being 8 years old when those Vipers came out, I guess it was always a dream car. I remember using them in the video games I played growing up and I think the OPs color combo is amazing. Ive always tried to be different with my car selections. When all my friends were getting Volkswagens, I wanted a Camaro. I live in a well-off part of the country. Theres money everywhere and all the old men are cruising in stock Vettes. I never see Vipers. Ive never driven either so I shouldnt of said I changed my opinion but I do understand the Viper arguement. Its a win win regardless..

You see more of them because of the price (C6 Z06). A good deal for a SUPER CAR if you ask me

I dont think the point of this thread was to compare a brand new Z06 to a brand new Viper. A viper may be older than a C6 Z06 but how dated do Vipers look? Especially a late 90s early 2000s GTS.. For being a decade older, I think the viper can still hang close to a C6Z in performance aspects as well. You make it sound like its not cool to say I have 7.0L 505hp Z06 that ***** on just about every car on the road..

Gen 3-4 Viper's would be a decent comparo to a C6 Z06.
And, OPINION, I think the Viper hasn't aged at all in appearance. Where as the C4 and C5 definitely have, and I assume the C6 will as well. Guess we will have to wait 16 years an see how the C6 is doing.

I guess I should've added "not pictured here" ... They're the ones I like best, that's all.

You could spend about as much on a ZO6 as a new Viper in 2010. I've seen them priced at the 90k mark, which simply isn't cheap. The performance is about equal. The only reason more ZO6's are seen is because there are more of them. The Viper is still rare.

The older Vipers were certainly fast for their time, but as always, time marches on and cars have gotten much, much faster. The newest Vipers are nothing to sneeze at performance-wise, though:
