Default MrDavid Procharger Dyno Session

Just copied Detoxx's thread title since his was at the top

Finally took my Z to the dyno tonight for a few pulls then a street tune afterwards. Car made around 680 on the second pull (1st pull had air in the meth line) so we decided to let the car cool off for a while, throw a bag of ice on the intake and cool it off too, then take the hat off the blower just to see what it would do. Bumped up the timing to 22* and let it rip for the last pass.

Pretty impressed when I saw the dyno chart afterwards

Had to tape it on my phone. It's a 1080p video, but a little blurry at the end. Last pull is the middle one.

Setup:
2001 C5 Z06
113k mile stock shortblock
Trickflow heads w/LS9 gaskets
F13 cam
D1SC Procharger @ 10-11psi
SNOW Stage II Meth kit
Custom Dyno Tune from V8muscle.net

It's seems pretty mild actually. I think the car has a mufflex catback on it so it sounds cammed, but cabin noise isn't bad at all. The car has great street manners down low also. Only thing I think I would change is the Monster level III clutch. It's not as nice as the McLeod RST I used to have in my TA.

Nah, turbos are just to hard to fit under the hood of a vette.

If I could have a 76mm turbo with the simplicity that I have with the Procharger, I would absolutely do it.

Yep. Got over 110k on it too. These engines are nothing short of amazing if your tune is spot on.

Nice numbers David.......can't wait to see it run. Are you planning to run it at the Southern Street Car Challange?
