Wow...Seems like GM is underating the horsepower figures. Rumor has it that the automatics are faster than the manuals 6 spds.

That puts the motor at right around 600HP. So it'll be interesting to see the RWHP of the new GT500. Overrated or underrated should be interesting to see the results.
I believe they said 650HP at the motor. So right now GM is shy about 50HP.

Pretty sure the ZR1 vettes dynoed around 525whp when they were Low Mileage New. Gotta think these cars a barely broke in yet!
