Trans Am vs G8 *Update*

Trans Am vs G8 *Update* Finished up putting the headers on my G8 last week and wanted to see how it compared to my wife's TA. She has bolt-ons and a Torquer V3 cam. Did two races and thought I hung with her pretty good, until after the second one when we were heading home, she told me she was giving me every advantage possible. 
Cutout closed obviously, T-tops off, granny shifting and shifting at 6000 RPM rather than 6800. Second race she said she just tried to stay with me and was shifting around 5500 RPM or so.

Thought the G8 did pretty well until she told me about her holding back. Guess I need to do a cam for the G8 or splurge and do a supercharger or something.
*Update*
Did some more runs this last week. Gave my cousins a chance to drive the TA with my brother driving the G8 and they both botched the launch. Younger cousin gave it another go in the second vid and didn't do too bad. First vid is with my driving the TA, not the best launch but not too terrible. Wish I would have done another run with the tops on cause 100+ you can really feel them holding the car back. Need to get some tires for the G8 too so it can take the TA off the launch easier and make it play catch up.

Ty, the TA is her baby and she logs 95% of the miles on it. She decided I needed a LS vehicle and after looking at G8's she went and got me one as a Christmas present this last year. She just claimed my former GTP as her beater with a heater/bad weather car. 
Very sick TA! Sorry, I'm biased.
My girl has a 2005 C6 vette, and everyone always tries to give me **** when I drive around my Z28, cause they think my girls car is faster than mine.... Because they have never seen the transam I have at home. lol
