Default 2nd attempt photoshoot

well here is a second attempt. i got up this morning and it was nice out. again camera is a d3000 with 18-70mm. this time i took some advice and got a polarizing filter. i think they are better, i need to get better at reading and using light better. let me know what you guys think.

Not a fan of chevy wheels on a pontiac but your car pulls it off. Rear tint would be a nice addition .

Pics look good. Circle polarizers are definitely good when dealing with reflections. I'd say always keep a UV on it at least, so that you protect your lens. The next thing is to upgrade glass. I did and it was almost like getting a new body.

As for the light, I think those shots for that time of day looks good. A tripod helps you keep the shutter open longer while keeping your iso down, but everything has its trade offs. Just playing around with different things and you'll keep learning and find your niche.

I like the car, the color, the wheels, the side markers, you removed the trans am side letters and the stance. But why didn't you dry the rear window?

Tint and ceta mod for sure. Looks very clean. Are those the center caps that OE wheels gave you when you bought them?

I think they look pretty good. As mentioned maybe try a tripod but do it later in the day like dusk. The reflections of the softer light show the lines of the car better without blowing out highlights. What camera are you shooting with? Nice car btw.

Nice time of day and a very good lookin' car! Try giving more breathing room around the car. Just stepping back and giving more space and leaving the car offset to the left or right makes a huge difference. I'd stay away from iso100 as well. Iso100 on the Nikon DSLR tends to blow out highlights easily. It would be better to shoot at iso200.

camera is a d3000 and i'll try iso200. i know at around 400 it really gets noisy, i cant wait to get a d90 or d5100. i haven't decided yet.

i did tend to notice my pewter car looks better in more of a natural enviroment, in a urban setting it tends to blend in.
