Honestly there are people out there launching the hell out of their GT-Rs and having no trans issues. Many of the trans issues were ironed out in 2010. Also there are GT-Rs launching on the stock trans with Alpha 9 and Switzer P800 kits so a bone stock car doing it shouldn't have any issues.


I love these types of comments. Say something nice about the car that runs while talking crap about it as well. Doesn't make you look cool saying that.

 

Anything all wheel drive is not impressive, with that power it should be faster! I run 9's, 10's and 11's with my cars with rear drive. They made all wheel drive for people who can't drive. I rather stick to my american cars!

P.S. The guy in the ZR1 is a shity driver!

 

How should it be faster? Its a STOCK 10 second car (for most 11). That means go buy it, take it to the track, and run 11s or 10s. Without doing anything. It only make 500 at the wheels. You also have to realize how much it weights. Its not light by any means. I think 10.8s are very good for a stock car. With saying that a car with 500hp should be faster than 10.8s that means the ZL1 should be a 9 second car(hypothetically without spinning)

And the car just posted did 10's with 100 less hp, 500lbs heavier, 4 seats and didn't do it at MIR. Did I also mention that its still 20k less than the Current ZR1?

Both cars are awesome. Haterade can only get you so far.

 

When cars are around 100k, I don't think 20k is quite a make or break to the ones buying the cars. It's like a regular guy waffling over the difference between cars that cost 17k and 20k. Not even going to argue the ridiculous 4 vs 2 seat comment.

 

Personally,...the car is too many idea's,put into one, when it comes to styling. I think it looks like a car with down syndrome,..or better yet, like it's kinda inbred looking,..like maybe its parents had sex with someone they weren't supposed to.

Congrats on the time slip but,..with an all wheel drive automatic at 90 grand,...I am not impressed, and I never will be. Very happy the car is out though,...as all it does is enhance the breed, everyone steps they're **** up,...and whadda ya know, we got 660+hp mustangs rolling out, 600+hp vipers, 600+vettes,..all out of the factory...and 9's in 4 door cadillac's with easy to reproduce mods. If I hit the lotto tomorrow,..the GTR is one car,..I would never buy for any reason what so ever. To me,it's a kids car...one that watched one too many fast and furious movies.

I appreciate anything fast,..just don't blow up 90k AWD car and act like your supposed to be surprised.

 

It's a cycle, those cars step up, the GT-R steps up as well. I guess a $120k car doing 10's is more impressive to you though lol. The GT-R's are already doing 9's with easy to reproduce mods as well as seen here:

I can go on and bash the $40k feel of a $120k Corvette but I don't feel like that today, primarily because I like how the car performs and have respect for it.

Like I said before haterade is not your strong point. Bottom line is your not impressed because the car isn't American.
