I remember that car like you would remember your first piece of ***.
I remember reading the GM high tech arcticle and it was said that the track techs just passed the car over and didn't give it a second look until it ripped a 9.90@140. Then there was the call to the tech-in lanes.
IIRC the car only had a stock bottom end LS2 at the time. Don't quote me on that, memory is getting a little fuzzy.
