cops pull ford pinto off the road for unsafe gas tank mod......irony. so a guy has a rusted out pinto and he moved the gas tank into the front seat and the cops seized the car for being unsafe..... 
i'd rather have my pinto gas tank up there than in the factory position, wouldn't you?

Yeah, I am thinking that this car is not safe on the road, either. Cops did everybody a favor getting that rolling death-trap off the road, before something really nasty happens.
