Does your dyno usually read high or something? I thought they were supposed to make 550 at the flywheel. Either way, it's a shame such a nice motor goes into such an ugly car. Would love to swap one into an e39 m5.

they are rated at 560 iirc. the 335's were way underrated out of the box so Im not surprised this one is too

I think those cars are way underrated. Assuming a generous 15% loss that's 610 flywheel horsepower. In reality, the drivetrain loss is probably 18% or so which means it's making 625 stock which explains how it keeps up with an 800+ lb lighter z06 in a 1/4 mile.

eddy current dynos can do simulated quarter mile pulls, pulled a 12.23 @ 122.32 with a curb weight of 4300#s with the car short shifting 2-3. obviously nothing official but this car will see the track soon

we have had a couple cars be within 1 tenth and 1 mph between the dyno and the track if you can control tire spin on both instances.

Should run quicker than a 12.23 on a good track. MT ran 11.9 and they usually don't run on the best surface.

The new M5 and E63 are going to give a lot of sports cars hell.
