Few pics of my new Corvette
Just bought a 2008 3LT F55 A6 Corvette a few days ago. Completely stock for now, but thinking of doing bolt-ons starting with exhaust after a few paychecks. I'll be taking more pictures when I get the time to take pics in good lighting. Might also goto the track friday night have a friend shoot some video of the stock passes.

Not a fan of the idea of nitro, but the idea of a cam or a procharger is in my head. But not until I do full exhaust, stall and some stiffer springs / sway bars.

Went to the track earlier. Didn't do very good. Best time was a 13.192 @ 110.49mph. I was running consistantly what I do with the T/A. Granted, it's totaly stock still on run flats, and this track has a reputation for crappy prep. I launched it auto in S with TCS off and MRC on Sport. Car seems to like to run hot as well, way hotter than the T/A. Oil temp was 220, coolant 210, and tranny usualy about 195 before a run, and about 205 after.

I'm hoping with the cooler weather coming in over the next month or so, the times will drop. Next time I'm going to try using the paddle shifters as well. Also got a LM1 axelback on the way.

I plan on doing American Racing headers and catted x-pipe. I have Kooks lt's and catted-y with LM1 on the T/A and love it.
It doesn't so much feel faster, as it is surprisingly fast in that it feels so smooth, and with the 6 gears you don't feel it pulling as hard even though its going just as fast. The T/A has alot of feel of the pants power thanks to the stiff strano springs, koni shocks, dual-roto join (no rubber or polyurethane, just metal) control arms and the chassis mounted tourqe arm, along with the 3600 stall and 3.42 gears. I'm sure the vette will feel incredible with a stall and bigger gears.
Yesterday me and my friend took the T/A out down I-220W and romped on it after taking the vette out on a similar drive several days ago. The T/A didn't quite feel as smooth and glide-like like the vette did, but it moved up the speedo just as fast. I'd honestly say they are about on par. Which is a good thing, considering the money I've put into the T/A. I have had similar traction problems with the T/A at the same track. Fastest I've ran was a 13.1 in the T/A. T/A's with similar mods seem to run about mid-low 12's.
