Some upgrades coming.
Trans it out of the car now just waiting to install the new converter.
I'm not 100% sure when im doing the cam install(not sure if i want to hit the track with the converter and boltons and get a 10 second pass or just do all the upgrades this winter)
Also my new wheels should be here in the next week or 2.

I'll get some pics up when i get them in.
I won't be installing the rears until i get tires which won't be till spring. No point in buying brand new DRs to sit on all winter heh.

Dude I would DEFINITELY run it with the converter swap alone first to see how much it nets you.... I think you'll see some 10.90s in good air.... Then slap the cam in it afterwards and see that set of gains...
Its awesome to say I run 10s with a stock motor......
Nice job on the car so far, systematically widdling down the ETs...
Auto C6s are THE car to build for street racing.....Not the cheapest cars to do but they respond so well to minor mods.... Especially the LS3s...
Its way better and more cool to do more with less..... other then to do less with more..(like my scenario)
I'll be doing a 4L60E conversion on mine sometime in 2013....
Keep us posted.

Yea the car has responded so well to mods so far i can't wait to see where the converter gets me, then the cam.
Honestly my Goal is to get the car pretty close to where the old G8 was CAM ONLY.

Yea i was originally torn between the SS3600 and SS4000, but Dave steered me towards his new line asking asking if he has ever made a SS3800.Gave him a ran down of the current mods and short term and long term plans with the car and said this would be best. Im excited to see how it does guess ill have to wait till late March to find out.

Well it's up and running Again
Spent the better part of last night buttoning everything back up. I had to drop the mid plate and mid section of the exhaust to get the new shifter cable on but all and all wasn't too bad. Having the diff out and subframe helps with putting the new on.
Had to undo the spindles most the way to get the axles straight and pop them back into the diff also. I've said it once i'll say it again this 3" exhaust on the autos is a PITA but worth it i guess
Also since i had everything off the car i went ahead and touched up the mufflers since they were looking like crap(Zo6 mufflers)
I still don't have my wheels yet so ran the car on jackstands and checked for abnormal noises and checked with my Hptuners to make sure the converter is locking and unlocking and everything seems good.

No many new updates with the car
Installed a Trans cooler and some lowering bolts in the rear
Lowered the front using the factory bolts
Also added a glass roof
Dropped 5lbs also heh
Went to MM to get a feel for the car with the new stall. Still learning the launch rpms but did net a 1.50 on one pass
Really happy how well it works with the 2.56 gears and 18" 30 series DR. I think with the current power level and leaving a little harder i can net some mid 1.4's. Did run 11.3 on the brakes at the end that night.
