Did you run it at the strip yet with the converter to see what it gained? I'm sure its in the 10s now on the stock motor..

Yep been to the track once(so far they have cancelled 2 out of 3 times)

It was on a fresh scrapped track.
Went to get a feel for the car with the new stall. Still learning the launch rpms but did net a 1.50 on one pass
Really happy how well it works with the 2.56 gears and 18" 30 series DR. I think with the current power level and leaving a little harder i can net some mid 1.4's. Did run 11.3 on the brakes at the end that night.

I'd like to get to the track in the next few weeks and try again but im getting sick of for weather/track to cooperate. We will see if i can hold out another few weeks.

Not exactly the results i wanted but im happy enough to now move on to the cam swap. Converter is a little big for the stock powerband(cam) but i'im 100% sure it will LOVE the cam.

Car leaves good for a stocker... I'm suprised to lost 2 mph up top from the converter swap though... Was the DA much different from your previous 123.5 mph best? Converter is probably a little loose due to the 2.56 gears but...its hard to go by that on A6s... 1.47 60' is pretty decent starting out, especially with 2.56s.. Were you flashing the converter or stalling it?

I would have thought for sure it would have gone 10.90s, especially with a 1.47..... Another 50hp from a cam will definitely get you there.....

Measure out your converter slip...may need to be tightened a bit... You should have probably gained 1-2 mph with the same weather conditions.. hard to say, so many variables..

Car is awesome though....I cant wait to see where you go with it.. Also I like the black cap....

I'm going an RPM 4l60 swap on my car right now... Autos just run so much harder, I figured I'd jump in and take advantage of the automatic magic...

Yea i think it might be a little loose for the stock power band. When i got the converter from dave i told him the plans and this is the converter he recommend for me. One of the problems i see is once i get out of the hole and the 1-2 shift happens i never see anything below 5,500 rpms. According to my dyno sheet before the converter my peak TQ was at 5,000 and starts falling after that. In the end i can't complain and im sure the car will love the cam with the stall.

Few weeks ago i hit the dyno i was happy with the numbers with a unlocked converter

Snagged up a FAST 102 on the Corvetteforum with just a few thousand miles on it and got it installed last night.

Ok im putting together a new setup here heh.

After my last track visit and testing in the 1/8th i think i need to do one last thing to the car to hit 10.5's Cam only and see some 1.3 60 foots.

I was cutting 1.41's last visit on the 18's still with the heavy runflats up front.
TSWs are getting sold(even though i loved the wheels)

Collecting stuff for the new setup.

More stuff on the way!

How do you like the driveablity on the kaotik cam with the stock heads? Im trying to see what I want to do with this 6.0 I have and a 370 with l92 heads has been in my mind and Vengeance has recommended that cam to me a few months back.

The car honestly drives great i think. I would imagine without the 2.56 gears it would drive around town even better.

Considering the large cam, 2.56 gears, and 3800 stall, its pretty damn good.

That's good to hear, I know tune has a big play in drivability but I like the specs and you've def seemed to make some good results with it.
