Default Photoshoot October 2012

Was curious about how the 7D (recently bought one) would perform with car photography. These where taken with the 55-250, photoshoot was done with other lenses too, so I will post those later.

Thanks. I almost sold it a couple of months back though, even considered trading it for an old school lifted, mint Cherokee last month! LOL!

I was just about to comment on the fact that you do indeed still have this car. I admire that.

Although I love my C5, I really miss my SS. There is something about a clean well put together Fbody.
Keep it man.

Wow! I just bought a t2i and I have no clue how to use it outside of its automatic setting. Nice pictures, how do you make the car stand out?

I upgraded from a T2i to my current 7D, its a great camera. I would suggest becoming a member at POTN forums to get the most out of the T2i. Auto settings sucks! LOL!

Aperture priority ftw.

How do you like that 7D? I got a T3i a year ago and now I'm itching for something a bit more... professional. It's just too small in my hand, even with a battery grip it doesn't balance with a 70-200 F/2.8L. Right now I'm considering 5D MKII, 6D, or 7D.

Love the 7D. It was the obvious choice for me since I like to take some action shots and wildlife, specially birds. The fps is incredible and with high speed shooting this beast sounds more like a machine gun than a camera. Ergonomically is much more solid and the bigger viewfinder sealed the deal.

Its much more complex than the T2i or T3i so you must relearn some things. The customization possibilities are awesome too.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Damn chaman! Even the old camera you had showed your car off as nice as it is! This camera really shows the shine you have in your paint! Beautiful car man!
