Where does it say he went from 0-283 in the record. If he was cruising at 100mph to start the mile then what kind of record is that

It would make almost no difference starting at 100 vs 0, it only takes a car that's capable of hitting 283 (not this car, but one that actually could ) about 1/16 mile to hit 100 from a stop. I couldn't see it helping much more than 5mph on the big end.

i hate seeing crap like this, the last time that car was in texas i dont beleive it went over 250, so where does another 30 mph come from? that car would need to be in the neighborhood of 2500 hp, which leads to more traction problems and good luck ever getting that power situated on only a mile long track, even with progressive boost controllers that most of those cars use, you can only put so much power to the pavement.THIS is horse ****..... just watch videos of the former LMR camaro and the henessy gt, there still spinning sometimes at the 3/4 mile mark. no freaking way at 1600 rwhp that there doing that, and its funny at the end of the video he says 300 here we come ..... haha.... hell why not 400!
