FYI, they make black Thermal Dispersant Paint, which actually aids in the IC's ability to dissipate heat.

Car looks killer. Love the color and that body style. I don't know if it would or not about the cooling issues but I'd look into having the IC painted or powdered and also into the muffler, have them both black. That would set that car off from the rest IMHO.
