Default 2010 SS Circle D 1E and 3.91 test pull

Well I finally swapped the yank ss3200 and stock gears out this week. Why did I wait so long...lol. Here is a quick vid of a top 2nd to top of 4th highway pull. Shift extension is great, seems as if it will flash 4000 to 4200 and the 3.91s are awesome in the auto if you have the right cam and rpm range.

I trapped 121.42 before these mods, and I basically have just scaled the shifts and speedo to correct for the gears so Ill bump the limiter up from 7200 to about 7400 and let it stretch 4th. Should be trapping around 123 if I had to guess, and that will put me at 7000-7200 in 4th crossing the traps. Then Ill try locking the converter in 4th and see how that effects the et and mph.

Thanks Chris Sehorn and Pro Stock John (for hooking me up with this trouble maker converter).

Had to roll in 2nd till about 6k and hammered it.

Sounds great! Just put a 4000 converter in my car. Can't wait to see what that's all about. Stupid snow.

Looks like the converter has nice shift recovery... Should run well at the track... I wouldnt expect to see much on the dyno though, unless you lock it.

If you can hook it at the track, it should fly..

Yeah my green Vette is a TURD on a chasis dyno... The T400, 10" converter and IRS rear with HEAVY stuff in it just KILLS it on the dyno.. I lose almost 200hp from the engine dyno to the chasis dyno..

Runs ok on the strip tho.... Autos/converters are no bueno for dynos.
