Sometimes i wish my car was down. then maybe i'd feel better (less guilty) about not driving it.

I don't drive it, just sits on a battery tender in the garage. It's black and i hate getting it dirty..

It's so (close) to perfect now.. far cry from where i was when i bought it.. Hopefully when yours is done you'll get more use out of it than i do mine...Need the spring/summer to get here quickly. I get dangerously close to "thinking" about selling it!

my car was down for 5 months, felt like 2 years.. bought it blown up. Never even drove the car so imagine that feeling..buying it, having it all apart and having to wait because your friend moves his shop and you try not to be a pain in the *** lol

Over the years i've gotten wiser began documenting all upgrades, improvements i've made to my cars. it's a hassle when you're coming up against problems now and again, but the hard work sure pays off.

If this clutters up your thread too much, lmk and i'll delete it. I'll say everything i've done to it along the way has been worth every cent and the down time, almost! LOL

My friend used to tell me that this was the "stock ride height" for my car. When it was actually on the road, he referred to it as "slammed." *******.

some of us were (are) at the mercy of others. (COUPLE WEEKS for this, then that guy gets screwed over by his supplier, body man, engine builder etc.etc.)..

if it blew up and is just sitting there? what else should you do? stare at it

This Was the plan from the moment i got the car actually. It just takes time and money and sometimes, you have to sell items that are on the car to fund the progress of the next set of upgrades. Hell, i had to sell my bike and my spare beater to help fund the turbo build. ***** too expensive lol

I have had to do a double take looking at my car in the garage next to my wife's mazda3 after doing extensive work to it. It'd spend a few weeks on ramps/stands and I get used to it being all huge and way up in the air, then I'm done and the car just looks slammed lol!
