Default Track runs from tonight (incar) - Wheelie scared me :(

Took my car to the track tonight. Cam only LS1, forged bottom end and a big shot. No nitrous on the car though only motor runs.
Raceweight was 3370

Best run of the night was a
1.64
7.33
11.44 @ 120.6 mph

Here's the run

This next video is funny. I changed the two step and launched the car higher with less tire pressure. Front end came off the ground and all my lights cut off and the car went dead, then popped back up. Still ran a 11.98 @ 119 with a 1.98 60' lol.
Any idea why my car cut off? Just bogging too hard? I have no idea what I was doing, I didn't even have my hands on the steering wheel for the launch. I was way too comfortable and then it just decided to stand up. I noticed my lights went dead on the interior as well. Does this signify that maybe the battery grounded out or something?

Thats impressive for cam only. What kind of numbers are you putting down? Any suspension work? What type of tire you running? What rpm did you leave the line at on the wheelie?

Where is your battery at? I'll bet your battery prob fell forward and arc'd on the shock tower.

Your car runs like a champ though.

Good call, I would agree if his battery has top posts without caps.

Yup, darkstars and 27" hoosiers actually.
Car has QA1's in the front and all the bolt in components in teh rear but I'm sure it's not set up 100%. I still need to get my pinion angle checked. My 12 bolt was whining worse than ever on the drive home. I drive it 100 miles there and 100 miles back on the slicks.

yeah deff make sure your pinion angle is right. and thats why i never considered a 12bolt they say every time you launch them or take it to the track the whine gets louder. what 2 step are you running? im looking at getting the linginfelter lvc-002 since it has the timing retard for when i spray and the 2 step which i want bad for the track

I REALLY doubt his battery was bouncing around as that's usually the first thing they check at tech inspection.

I'm running the MSD unit. Amazingly easy installation and theres a way to tie it into my microedge nitrous controller as well for when I spray again.

Car made 411rwhp SAE through the 12 bolt and 4.11's.

I'm thinking a set of heads and a fast 92 setup might be in my near future. I'd love to crack 10's NA.

My suspension is full bolt on in the rear, all adjustable with LCA relocation brackets and QA1 in the front. It needs some major tuning I think.

I left at 5700 on the wheelie.

Here is another really hard launch. This one bogged as well but it almost put me through the rear end of the car as I was sitting too far up in the seat LOL.

It's setup for a 175 shot. It made 576 on the juice last time but had some tuning issues. Have to get it retuned before I do the nitrous again.

agreed with everyone else here...i would check the battery hold down deal. Few of my buddies have had the same problem. When they would launch the car the battery rocks back and hits the shock tower and kills the car, as soon as the battery would rock back forward the car would pick back up.

Badass car man, that run with the wheelie was crazy haha. Should have kept your foot in it. No idea why it would have bogged/stalled though.
