Default Procharger C6 vs the World

Got a chance to run him last year when we both made 630 and chatted with him a good bit this year about his new build. Car was running strong.

Noticed that. I also noticed I wanted to type Prochared not Procharger in the title.

I'll have the same setup someday. Procharged C6 is the way to go.

Brake boost. C6's with Procharger's aren't too shabby.

Love to see Detoxx with a F1. I know someone that would trade you for one. Why did this guy go with a 6.0 instead just forging his motor.

I want to build it and max out the D1 first but a trade kinda interest me. He did a 6.0 for reasons I'm not really sure of.

That's my blue vette. I decided to do a GM Gen IV 6.0L iron block w/ LSA heads because I wasn't confident that my stock LS3 aluminium block and LS3 heads would be strong enough. I was looking to buy a built car a year or so ago with the same power I'm making now and he'd had issues keeping the heads down on his aluminum 416/418. I see all the guys here on ls1tech running crazy numbers on stock motors w/ iron blocks, so I just went with what I saw working. I also decided to keep it stock crank/stroke and almost stock bore (4.005") to keep the cylinder walls nice and thick and figured the iron would flex less and help the stock crank work. Basically just a simple built motor w/ nothing too crazy, but probably something you'd be more likely to find in an F-body vs. a C6 Vette w/ the way most vette builds check all the $ boxes.

here's the build thread if people wanted more info about the car and process:

It had a vortech t trim on it, with bolt ons, cam, and meth. Not sure what pulley size or hp numbers but it ran strong.
