Default Z/28 on BS Street Lites

Cleaned up my Camaro for the first time this year. Also put a new set of 27x11.5 Hoosier QTP tires on the rear (ignore the stickers on the tread). I used paint thinner to take the Hoosier paint off of the tires to give it a little cleaner look this go around. I haven't done anything to the exterior of my car in years, but I thought it was a good time to take a few quick pics!

Thanks, planning to take it to the track this friday. Anxious to see how the 27" tires do.

Appreciate it! I've been “done” with the exterior of the car for quite a while now and starting to focus on the go fast stuff. Next up is a 9” or 8.8” rear and possibly some N20. It does really well at the track right now for a cam only 10-bolt car (1.6x 60fts.), but ready to step it up a little more.

It’s actually an RK Sport aftermarket spoiler, very similar but it is a little bit different. It was on the car when I bought it back in ’05 and I just left it alone, didn’t want the car to be an SS clone.

Thanks, it does have a wider scoop than a factory SS hood. It was also on the car when I bought it (scoop unpainted) and it was about 2 years before I realized it was different than a factory SS hood. It’s a little wider, similar to an LT1 SS hood and a little taller than a factory LS1 SS hood.

Thanks! I like the stance also and it hooks at the track surprisingly well for as low as it is.

Looks great. Did you buy the wheels directly from Billet Specialties, or do other vendors sell them for cheaper? Also, if you don't mind posting, what did you pay for them?

Just looked on Billet Specialties website and see that you can get the 17x8's for $307 per wheels and the 17x11's for $356 per wheel, but the f-body 15x10's are $389 per wheel. Why is the 15x10 more expensive than the 17x11? From what I saw, the 17x8's and 17x11's can be had in f-body backspacing and bolt pattern.

I purchased these from a guy who had a listing in the classifieds here on LS1tech. I’m not sure why the 15” wheels are more expensive, probably in higher demand I would guess. I bought these wheels for 750 shipped with tires on the front and no back tires, got a pretty good deal on them.

Yes you did. They look great on your car. If I can get my CCW's sold, I'm buying these wheels, but likely in 17x8 fronts and 17x11 rears.
