Awesome race, but the 'Vette driver was a huge douche and made a fool of himself with that whole "See ya" thing.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't get it. Usually you say "See Ya!" when you're leaving somebody behind. The Z06 barely pulled him at all...

Why am I sticking up for Fords all the time? Seems like all I ever do anymore... Oh well. Awesome vid.

Ya...the "see ya's" were not in good taste...I mean, if you were more than a 1/2 car length...then maybe. But to make matters worse he throws the hazards on when Griff couldn't have even been at his rear bumper to even see the things. Oh well, a win is a win I guess.

I am not 100%...just look at the last 1 or 2 seconds of the movie. He hits a button on the dash. Looked like the hazard button to me.

19lbs of boost compared to 8lbs of boost. Now which car is sick? Poor cobra could barely keep up. If I remember right that cobra has N2O in the trunk too. Givin it respect? If I ran a car with LS1kilr on the plate and I put the hurt on him, he wouldn't get no respect from me AT ALL.

Barely keeping up? I think the Cobra was "keeping up" just fine... Put the hurt on him? The Z06 pulled barely HALF A CAR.

I agree, the "See Ya" comment was . That Cobra was on his door, could have just come down to driver between those two vehicles.

First off let me say the N20 isn't hooked up yet. With that said, I want to thank you guys for being so down to earth about the race. I was having issues with the car for the past week and told the Z06 owner I would run him just to see how she would do as she was running that night. Found out the next morning while checking my plugs for any signs of detonation that 2 of my vacuum lines were disconnected. one of which was the fuel regulator vacuum line which tells the fuel sensor how much fuel pressure to apply at any given RPM. This is why the car was falling on it's face up top. no fuel to support the HP.

The race was for fun so it doesn't matter either way.

And to the guy who said I could barely keep up~ It is so sad to see someone have so much devotion to one label/brand that it has you so blinded reality as we know it is scewed for you. Contrary to what some muscle car magazines have lead you to believe there are actually other fast cars out there besides the LS1 platform. I would take the blinders off ASAP before you find yourself getting pulled by one.... And my license plate is in no way, shape or form disrepectful torwards the LS1. Go read my posts over at Ls1.com before you judge me as a person based off a stupid piece of metal.

Either way, it was a good video. That and the Cobra vs the ZR-1 are the best races I've watched in a while. The Z06 owner's comments just annoyed me.

I thought they were pretty funny. The best was when we let off after the first run and he felt dumb so he said "I was about to yank him" and managed to pull a fender on me the next run...
