First, that was HILARIOUS!!! Second, I never knew that brakes can just catch fire like that, I was wondering how much braking does it take to make brakes go on fire like that?? or are his just cheap brakes and that's why they did that??

 

No supposedly in the video they said they were Hawk HPS's.
Also, from what a mechanic friend of mine said...Neons have horrible brakes from the factory. I don't know why but they tend to really eat pads.

Actually, I'm 33. Everytime I see a college age kid driving a compact POS they are doing stupid **** as seen in the video posted above. What would happen if one of the rotors would have came apart and sent the car into oncoming traffic when he hit the brakes and killed someone??

It's stupid irresponsible **** like that, that pisses me off.

I'm not arguing that **** like that isn't stupid, it is. The kid driving the Neon is a total moron. I'm just saying, don't judge us as a whole by the actions of a few of us. Parents said the same thing about their kids in the 60s and 70s.

I'd actually go out on a limb and say that college kids or those aged 18-22 years make up the majority of the members on this board. If we're all stupid, why are you posting here?

Last time I checked this is a free country we live in and I have the right to voice my opinion.

 

Midget car for a mental midget I guess. I can't believe he kept racing after that. No checking the brake lines or for other damage. No I also like the racing with the oncoming car on the two lane road shortly after the shutdown. That makes them all dumbasses.
