Default Stock Coyote Motor + Fox Stang = High 10's

This is one of the Fox Stangs from the NMRA "Coyote Stock" class.

Stock-internal Coyote motors going mid-high 10's at 122+ mph!

I thought you couldn't fit one in a fox because of the frame rails. Hopefully ford owners will start figuring out how to do this. I'm sick of seeing lsx fox bodies and 5.3 turbo swaps in them.

This swap has been done a few times or more on site like SVTPerformance and etc.

People go Turbo 5.3 because these Coyote motors are expensive...

Even used I see them going for 5k+

Wait.....Lets see......You title it as Stock coyote motor=high 10's...You post up 3 vids. One says it ran 11.08 and then one vid you can't even see the time board.

Where's the high or mid 10 sec pass like they or you claim?

I can post vids all day and make up times I don't run.

Typical for a Ford, Make up times you don't even run.

I don't know anything about the car or the class, other than the vids and what I've read online.

This is from the description of the second video: "This was only the 2nd pass with the spec tune and it went 10.89@122.4"

This is from the NMRA website:

No where in that list is the name Drew Lyons. His number on his car is 3333.

To find the 10.89 time you have the click the link bar. Most people are not going to click the link bar. Plus telling people you went 10.89 and showing time boards where you went 10.89 are 2 different things. When sponsors on here want to show you their products and cars they have done, they show you time boards and they show the dyno pull.

Mustang sounds good no doubt and moves out but he needs to show the time board. He shouldn't have anything to hide since he isn't grudge racing or anything. He's just running a class.

That class uses a very specific "sealed" engine. The price is the same, and supposedly so are the engine specs. Used engines NOT permitted. It also REQUIRES a PCM and harness kit for $1600.

Yes I'm aware of that. I was just speaking on why this swap isn't as popular as the 5.3 swaps.

I don't know if that is a older list or one from this summer heat, but I know that the fastest cars have been in the 10.40's. Also most if not all the cars are running 5speeds now. I've been keeping a eye on the Coyote Stock thread on YB and most of the guys that race in the class post...including the guy in the videos that the OP posted.

It may not be for the Fox bodies, but the SN95 guys are all over it.
