VR '12 Carbon Z07 - 493-rwhp of pure Corvette bliss
Please excuse any spelling errors or flaws found in this post, my keyboard is currently covered in drool. This '12 Carbon Edition Z07 came to us with just 1100 miles on the odometer and it was one of the sharpest examples of C6 engineering we've ever seen. The carbon body work over the Velocity Yellow paint, the killer carbon brakes, the black wheels - phew, simply incredible.
Of course, we knew we cold do a little bit better... But, after a thorough consultation, we chose to keep this Z07 a little more mild than our usual heads/cam builds, and we chose to only install a couple of well appointed bolt-on modification to increase power, along with a slew of Pfadt suspension upgrades to keep this Carbon Edition Z07 out in front of the pack.
Engine:
Haltech Carbon Fiber Cold-Air Induction system
Pfadt Race Engineering Tri-Y Long-tube Headers and a catalytic converter equipped X-pipe
Katech Billet Serpentine Belt Tensioner
Suspension:
Pfadt Race Engineering Engine Mounts
Pfadt Race Engineering Transmission Mounts
Pfadt Race Engineering Front Tow Hook
Pfadt Race Engineering Johnny O'Connell Signature Suspension Coilovers
Pfadt Race Engineering Johnny O'Connell Signature Suspension Sway Bars
Support:
Vengeance Racing Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Kool Mat Torque Tube Insulation
Results:
In stock form, the Z07 put down solid power for an LS7, producing 460.07-rwhp and 426.06 lb-ft of torque. With just a quality cold-air intake, a set of Tri-Y long-tube headers, and a custom calibration, the Z07 produced 493.91-rwhp and 471.93 lb-ft of torque. That's a gain of 33.84-rwhp and 45.87 lb-ft of torque, with massive torque available under the curve.

Ok, one more shot...
