SLO, i agree that slashing is a part of hockey. All I was pointing out was that they both tried to hit each-other with their sticks, and that both should be punished equally.

Ya know, Im more of a baseball fan, and whereas this **** is not as common, when it does happen it usually causes quite the uproar. Such as, if my memory serves me correctly, when Clemens threw the piece of the broken bat at Piazza, WTF FOR?! and the most ridiculous one is when a batter is hit by a pitch. sure, they hit guys intentionally every now and then, but back when real MEN played the sport they sucked it up and took their FREE BASE. violence in sports is ******

Yeah, after watching it over and over, both looked to be brutal hits. So, yeah both should face criminal charges.

After watching it a few times, all I have to say is WOW. Helluva swing. First guy needs to practice more, if he did he woulda connected. They're both idiots, plain and simple.
