Didnt modify any brackets. The rear was built for the strange caliper brackets. Paid 4g for the rear end housing and all suspension components the rear brakes and my set of billet specialties wheels. I already had my 3rd member built. I do all my own work. Installs, fab my exhaust, cam swaps, etc.

Have you put it on the dyno to see what it is putting down to the rear wheels?

dude, you're an inspiration! don't know if i missed it or not, but what clutch are you using?

i just made a 10.87 pass @ 127 in my lsx/t56 swapped thirdgen, but i have more motor than you (11.2:1 370 with H/C/I/Carb) and i am a bit heavier (3450lbs). I don't have the seat time you do though, and i'm excited to see where it can go from here. based on what you have done, i have a TON of work to do yet.

You are definetly on the right track I enjoy your vids cuz there's not to many 6 speed racers. I know your subborn on those 26 inch tire lol and weight helps for sure. I am running a monster 11 inch clutch. It's been flawless I would buy it again. I need some adjustable rear shocks bad!

that little tire just looks SO good stretched over the 10" wheel and slammed to the ground like that. i really want to make it work. a couple of Outlaw8.5 cars have made a clutch setup work on an even smaller tire, though i think they were lighter still.

i know what you mean about adjustable rear shocks....they're on my christmas list. it seems the Viking shocks have a pretty good rep already and considering their pricetag, i think i'll try to pick a set up. i also have a k-member/a-arms/coilovers/ccplates coming from PA Racing to help get some weight off the front.

Was thinking about going Viking myself. I will talk to the chassis guy for that. Once you get the front suspension done you will love it. Transfer weight so much easier.

the car has 90/10's and moroso trick springs already, but stock k-member and a-arms, etc. i've been told that the coil overs really allow front end articulation better on the thirdgens.

i know madman likes those viking shocks. ask your boys at midwest chassis and see what they think. Jason from PA Racing told me to go AFCO...i was like "oooooookkkkk....lol"

if after the rear shocks and front suspension are addressed and i still can't get it to work, i will THEN entertain the idea of a 4.88 gear and a 28" tire

btw, i love the .5:1 OD...makes putting monster gears in my street car not a big deal

Don't fear the gear . Talk to Eric at MWC, Afco would be the best, but I am always on a tight budget but he helps me out big time on my chassis needs and the best price. Kinda want to keep going cam only cuz I know there's more in it.

after you get all you think you can out of it like it is, you might as well throw some nitrous at it and break the stock bottom end record i think its in the 9.5 range hell a 150 shot should put you there

Well I was right. My Mustang friend found me at work this morning and said, bullshit that's a cam only car, he's spraying it or something. He's lying, he's lying to the entire world.

LOL. I love to get him fired up. A friend of mine told me my Mustang friend was on his Ipad at lunch trying to find out more about your car. He's on a mission to discredit you.

Sure you have! Your car dyno'd 126MPH traps at the rear wheels
You don't need hocus pocus numbers when you run at the track like you do.

As far as what your next step will be, my vote goes to remaining cam only, making adjustments to optimize what you have before you add heads or nitrous, or both.

I always optimize my current setup before going to the next level.

Good looking car and it performs like a champ, congratulations!

Parker
