do you no-lift shift?

i've been working with Jason at PA Racing very closely on my front suspension, and will probably continue to work with him on the rear. i agree though, my budget is always "tight to non-existent" lol, so i'm giving those vikings a close long hard look.

Sure you have! Your car dyno'd 126MPH traps at the rear wheels
You don't need hocus pocus numbers when you run at the track like you do.
As far as what your next step will be, my vote goes to remaining cam only, making adjustments to optimize what you have before you add heads or nitrous, or both.
I always optimize my current setup before going to the next level.
Good looking car and it performs like a champ, congratulations!

God that idle/launch sounds sexy. Nice run
Sounds like it bogs a little after the launch. Would you be better off launching at 5k or 5500 or is there anything different you could do with the tune? Just curious. Was this your best run to date?

Best run to date yes. Maybe some in the tune. And will just have test and tune to see if I can get the bog out. That's why I know there's more in this setup. I made some suspesion changes that day so was just seeing what it did. With a m6 need more passes on testing then a auto. Also this on a fast 78 manifold so may pick up with a 102 or something. Maybe something to try!

The video and the result are impressive. My $.02 I have a feeling the car is probably under 3200lbs with the driver in the car. My reason for saying that is the car I used to race was 3021lbs without me in the car. In the car at HRP on the scale it went 3205-3220 depending on how much fuel was in the car.
The car started as a H/C LS6 (Ported 243's) with an LS6 intake making 480-490 RWHP. 60' were in the 1.42-1.45. ET was in the 10.7-10.8 and the MPH was I think around 124. Moved up to a FAST intake with the ported stock heads and the car made 503RWHP @ 7000 and went 1.4x 60' and 10.67 @ 126. Car now has AFRs, FAST intake and 10º more camshaft timing and is making about 510-515RWHP @ 7400now. Only made one pass in 2000' DA and ran a very soft 1.6 60' and ran 10.86 @ 128MPH. Next 3 times to run the car resulted in the rear end exploding on the line. So, we stopped drag racing the car. I would expect on a day with negative DA at HRP with a good launch (and the rear not exploding in the car, it would go 10.4 @ 129-130 MPH).
Based on the cam specs, and the fact that you are running stock Ls1 heads you have I'm guessing you are probably about 440 RWHP. To run that sort of ET and MPH you either need more HP, or less weight. You don't have a super aggressive cam (it fits without fly cutting). You aren't revving it to the moon.
Like I said, the run is impressive for cam only, I just think the car is well sorted out chassis wise, but also probably at least 200 lbs lighter than you think to run that ET cam only...

Nice Info!! Maybe I can get my buddy's scale and let you guys know for sure. The chassis is sorted out well. Me tweaking and the help from Eric at MWC. I hope it is lighter then I think.

I love them. Back in the day when it was a nice street car with 17inch zr1 on it and smaller cam and stock suspension with a stamped 9 inch I still had 4.56 gears. Then all hell broke loose and decided to go street/strip.

lol that's sweet man. My ws6 is very similar to your setup minus motor. Do you use 5th gear in 1/4? I have a 4:11s now cause I still drive car on street.

Thanks Bob. Car originally had a hotcam, and ls6 intake. Ran a best of 11.6 at 117. But my suspension tuning was sub par at that time but keep learning alot, But thought it did well for what it was.

Great job and very impressive!!! You must have your suspension working great. I just switched out an ls1 intake and ls6 cam for a fast intake and G5x3 cam. I am also running the stock 241 heads, 3.73 gears and I am in hot pursuit of 10's with a cam only car. So far I have gone 11.90 at 118 with a slipping clutch - I killed my ls6 clutch last time out. I would love to know what you are doing with your suspension and launch techniques if you don't mind sharing. PM if needed.
I know I also need to do some weight reduction and I am installing a PA Turbo K member with solid engine stands this winter and I have QA1 adjustable shocks for all four corners. Thanks!
